Caucus moment

House Majority Leader Floyd Nease is kind of a tough guy - stocky in build, who has long played the role of “enforcer” in the Democratic caucus.

Today, he interrupted the caucus meeting to take a phone call. He came back to announce he’d just become a grandfather. Somebody asked him the boy’s name and the tough guy could not talk.

The voice would not cough it up. After a few attempts, it became apparent that the word he was trying to emit was Oliver.

Congrats to the new grandpa.
