At the races

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gaye Symington is in a race of another sort tonight. Her car - the one she's sponsoring with her name on the side, not the one she drives - makes its debut at Thunder Road in Barre.

Number 90 will compete in the Tiger Class Sportsman Division. It will not be driven by race car driver/state senator Phil Scott, (a Republican), but instead by Barre native Tony Rossi, also a regular on the circuit.

Republican Gov. Jim Douglas also sponsors a car at Thunder Road. It will debut this year at the Governor's Cup later this month.

Progressive Anthony Pollina also has a car, which will be racing June 21 at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, N.H.

In the form of a news release, Symington said:

"It will be fun to be at such an exciting sports event with so many other
Vermonters, especially because I'll have a chance to root for Tony Rossi and the
Symington car.

The release also says, when asked whether she thought Rossi would win, Symington said, "I'm only prepared to predict the winner of one race this year in Vermont, and that one happens in November." She did not divulge who she is predicting will win, however.

No doubt Symington is trying to reach a crowd she might not normally be tight with. Is it hypocritical for Symington, who drives a hybrid Camry, to embrace the race-track burning of high-priced fuel?

Comments:
Yes.

I worked on a US Senate campaign in another state years ago. We sponsored a race car, too. Thought it made perfect sense. The car did great and actually won a race. The campaign did not match that outcome and lost by 32 points.

It's my understanding that Symington is a NASCAR fan...

Is the election about race cars or issues?

This is just another opportunity for the pols to get their names out there. Don't read too much into it.

This whole phenomona of politicans feeling obligated to appeal to NASCAR knuckle draggers is a sad state of affairs. Does anyone really think Jim Douglas is a fan of the sport (term used very loosely)? Or Symington or Pollina? Gimme a break. It's pure pandering, but the NASCAR bubbas and babs can't see right through it because they're just happy someone who they think is above them in stature is validating their love of left hand turns. This is what America has been reduced to and why more and more we're perceived around the world as a joke. Instead of worrying about sinking education, the expanding working poor, crumbling infrastructure, etc, are politicians are worried about capturing the redneck vote.

Symington is a joke.

Douglas is a joke.

I bet she'll break out her jeans for that event. Matt Dunne used to do that too...throw on some Carhartt's and try to get people to think he was a real person.

I heard that!

Unlike Douglas who wears a suit and tie to bed.

I always voted based on issues ... I guess clothing is more important to some people.

I love watchin' ignorant, anonymous trash with bupkis battle their inner demons.

That's entertainment.

Symington's car will be stuck in neutral

Why is it Symington is a hypocrite while Gov Douglas has been doing this for years!

The real hypocrite is Douglas - who unlike Symington, and yes, even Pollina, lacks any vision whatsoever.

Douglas is a joke who has pulled the wool over Vermonters eyes for the last 30 years.

Douglas, of course, is a huge hypocrite -- he is the one who touted his little red fuel efficient car in previous years.

However, now, while telling ALL Agencies and Depts to curtail travel, he is upping his travel around the state.

I wonder if our media would ever entertain investigating how many miles he travels cutting ribbons.

And how much that costs the state?

And how many hours he spends away from Montpelier - at our expense?

why does Douglas traveling around the state bother you?

It seems to be a good thing for the Gov to actually get out of the Statehouse and meet/talk to people on a regular basis. I keeps him in touch with the citizens. Would you rather he lock himself in Montpelier and not hear feedback from the voters? If he did I suspect you would say he is out of touch.

Actually, it would be nice to see him convening bi-partisan meetings in Montpelier (or wherever)with leglislators, interest groups, citizens, and others to try and resolve the huge problems confronting Vermont. One-to-one pressing of the flesh is purely self-serving, and is only about politics and elections. It's got nothing to do with addressing the real issues. Quit campaigning and start governing. It's why we pay Douglas $150,000+ every year. We don't pay him to campaign.

And none of the Gov.'s in the past made public appearances? Dean? Snelling? Kunin? Salmon? I think they all did their share of politicing while in office.

They did, but they weren't trying to grapple with George W. Bush's calamities, which put Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan and Carter's missteps, combined, to shame.

C'mon....how lame can you get.

None of the others have taken this ribboncutting - road roaming to the level of Jim Douglas.

It is all about politics and his next election - never about what is good for Vermont.

To anonymous 9:03a,

Driving around to meet with Vermonters is probably a good thing --- however, the Governor has already told state workers to curtail travel. And that travel is about actually serving Vermonters!

Big difference!

At least Douglas posts his public appearance schedule, unlike Howierd Dean. Dean, by the way, was hardly ever even in Vermont in the years leading up to "the" scream.

What's you point Coop? You offer nothing but trite insults. Do you ever have a coherent, constructive thought?

I am not a Republican but I think it is the Governors job to go out and talk to Vermonters.

Wow, pretty sweeping generalizations about NASCAR and racing fans. "Knuckledraggers" and "Rednecks"? Got any evidence to back that up?

Most of the studies available seem to suggest NASCAR fans are pretty well educated, though of course they are commissioned by marketing firms looking to sell the sport to sponsors.

And the sport is pretty open about its weakness appealing to blacks and its efforts to remedy that.

Your statement reminds me a lot of Michael Weisskopf's famous story in the Washington Post on February 1, 1993 about conservative Christians. The next day, the Post was forced to run the following:

"Correction: An article yesterday characterized followers of television evangelists Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson as 'largely poor, uneducated and easy to command.' There is no factual basis for that statement."

Suspended NASCAR officials accused of sex charge
JENNA FRYER

The Associated Press

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Two officials suspended by NASCAR are accused in a $225 million lawsuit of exposing themselves to a former co-worker, the Associated Press has learned.

Tim Knox and Bud Moore have been placed on indefinite administrative paid leave.

NASCAR will not reveal the identities of the officials sent home Friday from Kentucky Speedway, but a person familiar with the investigation confirmed to AP on Saturday that Knox and Moore were suspended. The person requested anonymity because NASCAR's investigation is ongoing.

NASCAR did not give a reason for the men's suspension. NASCAR chairman Brian France was expected to address the investigation later Saturday at Michigan International Speedway, site of Sunday's Cup Series race.

Mauricia Grant filed her suit Tuesday, alleging 23 specific incidents of sexual harassment and 34 specific incidents of racial and gender discrimination during her time as a technical inspector for NASCAR's second-tier Nationwide Series.

Grant, who is black, claims her October 2007 firing was retaliation for complaining about the way she was treated on the job from her January 2005 hiring.

NASCAR sent a team of investigators from its human resources and legal offices to Kentucky and did 27 interviews away from the track Thursday and Friday. Knox and Moore were found to have possibly engaged in behavior that violated NASCAR policy.

Grant's suit accuses both men of exposing themselves to her.

The lawsuit contends that at an April 2007 race in Texas, Knox exposed himself in the hospitality suite of their hotel at an officials gathering hosted by Nationwide Series director Joe Balash.

Moore is accused of coming out of his hotel room in Memphis in October 2006 clad only in a towel. The suit says he asked Grant if she wanted to see what was under the towel, opened it, then ducked behind a trash can.

In another incident, Grant claims Moore asked her how it felt to be black. Her suit claims Grant described being black as "a privilege," and Moore feigned confusion and wondered aloud "how can she be proud of being black?"

Moore also is accused of making lewd sexual advances toward Grant.

France has not addressed the validity of Grant's claims, but said the former official never made a formal complaint or followed NASCAR policy in reporting harassment.

Investigators have failed to uncover a single instance where Grant complained to her supervisors or other NASCAR employees about the way she was treated, and NASCAR plans to continue defending the organization against the lawsuit, the person familiar with the investigation told AP.

Grant has said she followed the chain of command all the way to Balash, but stopped short of telling human resources because she was reprimanded by that department for a separate incident two weeks after lodging her complaint. She said she viewed the reprimand, which included a threat of termination, as retaliation for complaining to Balash.

Balash was unavailable for comment following practice Saturday morning for the Meijer 300.

Named in the suit are Balash, assistant series director Mike Dolan, two supervisors, NASCAR's senior manager for business relations, the human resources director and 17 officials who were Grant's co-workers."

Ya got any evidence to the contrary ya wanna cite, indy?

That's what I thought.

"Most of the studies available seem to suggest NASCAR fans are pretty well educated, though of course they are commissioned by marketing firms looking to sell the sport to sponsors."

Really? Such as? Got any evidence to back that up?

Who did the research, larry the cable guy and the blue collar comedy tour?

Did Jeff Foxworthy frame the poll questions by prefacing each and every last one with: You may be a redneck if......?

That's what I thought.

And the sport is pretty open about its weakness appealing to blacks and its efforts to remedy that."

"Yeah, those Confederate Flags sure make the Brothers and Sisters feel at home.

Yeah, and nothin' says Shalom! Enjoy Oktoberfest! like a Swastika, schmuck.

Is your ignorant ass gonna tell me that Bavaria can't celebrate Oktoberfest without a Swastika because "it's part of their cultural heritage", indy?

"Your statement reminds me a lot of Michael Weisskopf's famous story in the Washington Post on February 1, 1993 about conservative Christians...."

Gee, ya mean the TIME senior correspondent Michael Weisskopf of the "So-Called Liberal Media" who lost his hand in December of 2003 covering the War in Iraq as he accounts in part here, little factually-challenged fella?

Life and limb: a journalist's account of surviving the signature injury of the Iraq war
Washington Monthly, April, 2007 by Ronald Glasser
E-mail Print Link Blood Brothers: Among the Soldiers of Ward 57 By Michael Weisskopf Henry Holt and Company, 320 pp.

Michael Weisskopf never intended to become part of his own story. The fifty-seven-year-old senior correspondent for Time magazine was in Iraq in December 2003 on a coveted assignment--to profile the American soldier chosen as Time's Person of the Year. For three weeks, Weisskopf was embedded with a platoon of the legendary 1st Armored Division, which was based in Sunni-dominated northwest Baghdad. On the night of December 10, Weisskopf was along on the platoon's routine night patrol when he heard a clatter inside the Humvee. As Weisskopf writes in his new book, Blood Brothers: Among the Soldiers of Ward 57,

At first I thought it was a rock, the specialty of the street
urchins--a harmless shot against an armored Humvee. But the clanking
sound that interrupted my thoughts couldn't be ignored ... [I]t
bounced off the steel blast wall behind me. I gazed down, then to
the right, and spotted an object on the wooden bench two feet away.
The dark oval was as shiny and smooth as a tortoiseshell, roughly
six inches long and four inches wide ... [S]omething told me there
was no time to consult the other soldiers ... I rose half-way,
leaned to the right, and cupped the object. I might as well have
plucked volcanic lava from a crater. I could feel the flesh of my
palm liquefying ... [I] raised my right arm and started to throw the
mass over the side of the vehicle, a short backhand toss. Then
everything went dark.
The grenade never made it out of the Humvee. Weisskopf took the brunt of the blast, saving the lives of everyone in the vehicle but losing his right hand in the explosion. "I shook my right arm, trying to wake it up," he remembers. "Still no response, I elevated it to see why ... My wrist looked like the neck of a decapitated chicken. The wound was jagged, blood glistening in the light."

The week that followed was hellish: multiple surgeries were needed to clean Weisskopf's wound and relieve the pressure on his injured arm. A spray of shrapnel remained buried in his right upper thigh. An Army transport plane carried Weisskopf to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, where, during a routine procedure to clean the wound, Weisskopf ended up with heart arrhythmia, which landed him in the ICU. Finally, well after midnight on December 17, a week after his hand had been blown off, Weisskopf arrived at "Amputee Alley," Walter Reed Army Medical Center's Ward 57, specially designated to treat amputees of the Iraq War. (Weisskopf, the Ward's fifty-sixth amputee since the start of the war, was the first journalist ever to be a patient at the vaunted medical facility.)

Blood Brothers is not so much a book about the invasion of Iraq. Nor is it merely a paean to the much-praised staff and facilities at Walter Reed, though it is partially that. (Blood Brothers was published before the Washington Post carried, in February, a devastating expose of shoddy facilities leased by Walter Reed to house some patients and their families.) The book is, instead, a tightly written insider account of what has become an all-too-frequent experience of those serving in Iraq: losing a limb. Doctors at Walter Reed could predict what to expect from the Iraq conflict. Because of advances in battlefield medicine--tourniquets that can be tied with one hand, blood-clotting pellets made in part from volcanic ash, better life-support systems on medevac choppers--more soldiers' lives could be saved. But that blessing would in turn mean that more would be coming back with multiple grievous injuries. Nurses were told to expect "a new breed of patient: young, in chronic pain, traumatized, and long-term."

The predictions proved correct. In Iraq, the American military has lost one for every ten soldiers hit in combat, compared to a one-in-four fatality rate in Vietnam, and one in three during the Second World War. Because of the nature of the attacks on American soldiers--primarily from improvised explosive devices (IEDs)--and more widespread use of body armor, the soldiers' extremities have taken the greatest punishment. More than half the wounded in Iraq have injured or missing limbs.

"The toll was stupefying," writes Weisskopf.

My neighbor to the left was a twenty-six-year-old
former all-state high
school runner from New Jersey
whose whole left leg was amputated
above the knee and his right knee
connected to his hip by a titanium rod.
Down the hail a twenty-four-year-old
Virginian who loved to drive fast
cars was missing both legs above the
knee. Across from him a twenty-two-year-old
expectant father from Pittsburgh,
blinded and separated from
both his hands ... the litany of misery
moved from bed to bed ... I recognized
the common plight of men
who'd come home with less than they
had left with--the trajectory of a life
stopped cold in a hospital bed..."

" The next day, the Post was forced to run the following:

"Correction: An article yesterday characterized followers of television evangelists Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson as 'largely poor, uneducated and easy to command.' There is no factual basis for that statement."

Really? They send their money and listen to nitwits who claimed the following in the wake of 9/11/01:

Rev. Jerry Falwell (with Rev. Pat Robertson)
blames pagans, abortionists, feminists
& gays and lesbians for bringing on the
terrorist attacks in New York and Washington

Partial transcript of comments from the
September 13, 2001 telecast of the 700 Club

JERRY FALWELL: And I agree totally with you that the Lord has protected us so wonderfully these 225 years. And since 1812, this is the first time that we've been attacked on our soil and by far the worst results. And I fear, as Donald Rumsfeld, the Secretary of Defense, said yesterday, that this is only the beginning. And with biological warfare available to these monsters -- the Husseins, the Bin Ladens, the Arafats -- what we saw on Tuesday, as terrible as it is, could be miniscule if, in fact -- if, in fact -- God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve.

PAT ROBERTSON: Jerry, that's my feeling. I think we've just seen the antechamber to terror. We haven't even begun to see what they can do to the major population.

JERRY FALWELL: The ACLU's got to take a lot of blame for this.

PAT ROBERTSON: Well yes.

JERRY FALWELL: And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say "you helped this happen."

PAT ROBERTSON: Well, I totally concur, and the problem is we have adopted that agenda at the highest levels of our government. And so we're responsible as a free society for what the top people do. And, the top people, of course, is the court system..

JERRY FALWELL: Pat, did you notice yesterday the ACLU and all the Christ-haters, People For the American Way, NOW, etc. were totally disregarded by the Democrats and the Republicans in both houses of Congress as they went out on the steps and called out on to God in prayer and sang "God Bless America" and said "let the ACLU be hanged". In other words, when the nation is on its knees, the only normal and natural and spiritual thing to do is what we ought to be doing all the time - calling upon God. ~~~

PAT ROBERTSON: > Amen"

Now how could anyone ever get the idea that people who follow, listen and spend their money to ignorant-trash hucksters who make such statements in the wake of 9/11 that were as bad or worse than any of the reprehensible rubbish uttered by the previously obscure Jeremiah Wright get the idea that their flock were ignorant nitwits and Nascar fans were clueless crackers who like to watch a passle of billy bobs make left turns, trade paint, bump, draft, slingshot and put each other into the wall and wreck under the Confederate Flag would be clueless crackers with bupkis?

Do tell?

That's what I thought.

Always a pleasure.

Ya mean besides the fact that you invariably prove your ignorant, anonymous ass to be dumb, to be scum and to have bupkis with no supporting evidence to substantiate your delusional dreck and brain-dead bigoted, BS leaving you without a case and/or a clue because you're a factually-challenged/fundamentally-dishonest, delusional-dreck dealin' dolt who doesn't know what the hell you're talking about and can't distinguish your ignorant ass from your elbow, little fella?

There's at least five points there which leaves me at least five up on your ignorant, anonymous ass since ya got here, schmuck.

Always a pleasure.

Nice logic on NASCAR fans Coopy. It shows your true bigotry. Extrapolating the actions of 2 NASCAR execs to indict all NASCAR fans is the equivalent of saying Bill Clinton’s repeated adulterous actions means that all Democrats are Adulterers.

As to the other points, they have nothing to do with NASCAR fans… truly a sad situation for Weisskopf but I assume he knew the risks of being in a War Zone.

As for Robertson and Falwell, who cares. They are the Rev. Wright of the Conservative basis…just as nutty. I think you defended BO’s association with the Rev saying his statements didn’t reflect BO’s opinion. Ditto Falwell and Roberston and their ability to speak for the entire conservative base.

Yet another sweeping generalization about a group that even objective studies put in the tens of millions (75 million is the commonly cited figure).

I was straight up about acknowledging that most of the stats are generated by NASCAR or marketing firms. Still, they're the best out there, and one,Scarborough Research, reports that 8.2 percent of NASCAR fans are African-American. That means there are slightly more than 6 million black "clueless crackers" out there.

http://www.gommi.com/rftc_media/race_demographics.htm

The rest of your post about Michael Weisskopf's unfortunate experience in Iraq is nothing but a crashing non sequitur.

The bottom line is Weisskopf's cavalier dismissal of conservative Christians as stupid sheep -- an opinion that was apparently widely enough held in the newsroom of the Washington Post to make it on the front page unchallenged -- was a tremendous embarrassment for the Post and the media in general.

Likewise, as a previous poster noted, using a crazy preacher -- whether it's Wright or Falwell -- to generalize about all Christians is intellectually dishonest. Since that's an accusation you hurl at others regularly, I thought you might be above it. I'll admit being wrong about that.

"Yet another sweeping generalization about a group that even objective studies put in the tens of millions (75 million is the commonly cited figure)."

Again, and what allegedly "objective studies" would be the source of these "commonly-cited figures", little factually-challenged fella?

That's what I thought.

"I was straight up about acknowledging that most of the stats are generated by NASCAR or marketing firms. Still, they're the best out there, and one,Scarborough Research, reports that 8.2 percent of NASCAR fans are African-American. So, NASCAR-commissioned studies conducted by Scarborough Research for the benefit of NASCAR are "the best out there", eh? Nice try.

"..The rest of your post about Michael Weisskopf's unfortunate experience in Iraq is nothing but a crashing non sequitur."

It is, eh?

Hey, your raised the guy's name, indy, Don't blame me 'cause your factually-challenged, indignorant ass - to coin a phrase - walked right into the brick wall of reality, schmuck.

The lunatic-fringe fairy tales raised by your indignorant ass left ya wide open to the left hook and overhand right of reality, schmuck, and your indignorant ass still doesn't know what hit ya.

Let me explain it to your indignorant ass. Again, little fella.

First of all, the bottom line is Weisskopf's injury and the circumstances under which he sustained said injury puts the lie to your clueless-cretin contention that bush and his gop-scum supporters like you and the self-proclaimed values voters are the victims of so-called liberal media bias.

The media doesn't have a liberal bias, schmuck. The facts do.

"...what it cavalier dismissal of conservative Christians as stupid sheep -- an opinion that was apparently widely enough held in the newsroom of the Washington Post to make it on the front page unchallenged -- was a tremendous embarrassment for the Post and the media in general."

It was, eh? It is eh? Based on what?

That's what I thought.

Based on the fact that the so-called, patriotic, values-voting, NASCAR nitwits and 700 Club Sheep are probably the only groups that would possibly give bush a favorability rating of over 50 percent and keep the most unpopular President in US History from being even more unpopular, if anything, Weisskopf was guilty of understatement.

Is it your indignorant ass's clueless-cretin contention that the charges of racism on the part of current or former NASCAR officials surrounding the wrongful termination suit mentioned by the reporter in the AP article I cited weren't mentioned mentioned by the reporter in the AP article I cited, schmuck?

Is it your clueless-cretin contention that the lunatic-fringe likes of Falwell and Robertson didn't say what the official transcript of the 700 club didn't says they said?

Is it your clueless-cretin contention that the Bakkers didn't fleece the sheep who sent their money to the ptl club?

Is it your clueless-cretin contention that pat robertson didn't win the '88 Iowa Caucuses and continue to compete in subsequent primaries and caucuses while running as a gop candidate for the gop presidential nomination, little fella?

How many Iowa Caucuses did Jeremiah Wright run in - let alone win - as a Democratic Candidate for the Presidential Nomination of the Democratic Party, little fella?

In other words, what you're saying is that you're dumb, you're scum and ya got bupkis.

Thanks for clearin' that up, indy.

"Likewise, as a previous poster noted, using a crazy preacher -- whether it's Wright or Falwell -- to generalize about all Christians is intellectually dishonest. Since that's an accusation you hurl at others regularly, I thought you might be above it. I'll admit being wrong about that."

Nice try.

Well, we'll just throw that on the pile with the rest of the bogus allegations, nitwit-nonsense and ignorant-trash with bupkis allegations your factually-challenged/fundamentally-dishonest, indignorant ass and your coalition of the clueless-cretin comrades can never seem to substantiate or prove, little fella.

However, if that pile gets much bigger, we're gonna need a bigger planet to hold it.

Always a pleasure.

It does, eh? And when have I ever pretended to be a fan of ignorant, anonymous bigoted-trash with bupkis, little factually-challenged/fundamentally-dishonest, nameless-nitwit fella?

That's what I thought.

Again, just which part of you're dumb, you're scum, ya got bupkis and I wouldn't piss on your ignorant anonymous ass if ya were on fire is givin' ya trouble, auntie amerika?

"...Extrapolating the actions of 2 NASCAR execs to indict all NASCAR fans is the equivalent of saying Bill Clinton’s repeated adulterous actions means that all Democrats are Adulterers."

Yeah, it's not like gop scum accused Dems and the other opponents of the War in Iraq who questioned Bush's evidence, case and judgement after 9/11 in the run up to the War in Iraq like they did when we opposed the War in Vietnam or anything.

You really ought to seek professional help and deal with these increasingly-frequent suicidally-stupid impulses to say incredibly stupid things you're having more and more difficulties in stifling, schmuck.

I have no trouble handling the factually-challenged meatballs ya toss me when you're supposedly trying, little fella.

I'm already shootin' fish in a barrel dealin' with your ignorant, anonymous ass's delusional dreck as it is, schmuck. I don't need ya to lay it in there like BP, bupkis boy.

That said, if I was merely relying on the article cited to show a long-held pattern of racism, sexism, support for gops and other forms of ignorant-bigotry on the part of NASCAR and a number of its fans, your ignorant, ill-informed, anonymous ass might have a point, but I'm not, so, once again, ya don't, little nameless-nitwit fella.

Is it your ignorant, anonymous ass's clueless-cretin contention that the AP article cited is the sole source of NASCAR's long-running reputation for being pro-gop and hostile to Blacks and other Minorities, iggy slop?

Is it your clueless-cretin contention that Confederate Flags haven't routinely and historically been flown by a number of NASCAR nitwit fans in celebration of their "cultural heritage", little fella?

"As to the other points, they have nothing to do with NASCAR fans… truly a sad situation for Weisskopf but I assume he knew the risks of being in a War Zone."

Yeah, members of the so-called liberal media can get killed or maimed covering unjustified and unjustifiable wars illegitimate-trash, chicken-hawk gop-scum lie us into just like the stop-lossed troops who don't want to be forced to do a third and fourth tour when they never signed on for the first one in the first place just as easily as they could in legitimate ones like WWII, little fella.

"As for Robertson and Falwell, who cares. They are the Rev. Wright of the Conservative basis…just as nutty."

Funny, I don't recall your ignorant, anonymous ass drawing that comparison and conclusion previously, little fella.

"I think you defended BO’s association with the Rev saying his statements didn’t reflect BO’s opinion. Ditto Falwell and Roberston and their ability to speak for the entire conservative base."

I did, eh? As always, feel free to produce any and all evidence of me doing that, little factually-challenged fella.

That's what I thought.

Your ignorant, ill-informed anonymous ass's memory remains as faulty as your factually-challenged/fundamentally-dishonest, nameless-nitwit "thinking", iggy slop.

Always a pleasure.
