Dissent?

Is there dissent allowed in parties?

Donovan: A lot of those discussions happen in private. Maybe they should happen more in public.

Zuckerman: Once you're a Prog you're more apt to agree.

It was. Something about the Kool-Aid, I guess.
 
There is simply less cognitive dissonance within the P's because there is less tension between the intent of legislation and the reality... There's less half-assed compromise, for better or worse, so it's easier to agree.
