Destination: adjournment

Fasten your seat belts. They are talking Friday adjournment at the Statehouse.

One lobbyist mentioned that the building was too quiet this evening for that to be possible, but plenty of conference committees are close to agreement and it seems in the realm of possibilities.

Early in the session, Republicans suggested adjourning a month early to save money. Now that it comes down to a potential two-week early adjournment it could be a problem for the Republicans.

That's because the party's spring dinner is Thursday night. There will be a whole lot of chicken gone uneaten if the legislators are tethered to the Statehouse.

Comments:
Earliest adjournment date in 20 years.

Let the lard-butted gops not eat cake.

Thanks for the added value, Coopy. True insight. True bupkis. You are the master.

The Democrats have gotten nothing done and sadly are then going to run their leader for Governor - are they kidding us right now?

Best I can tell, Corrections Corporation of America is this session's big winner. That means lots more Vermont tax dollars for Kentucky, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

If you're a business owner in Waterbury, you would be the session's biggest loser. Say goodbye to Dale and the state hospital ain't far behind. Thank Sen. Phil Scott for selling your town down the river. He must see new construction dollars coming his way.

No, given the fact that you consistently can produce no evidence to counter me or support your ignorant, ill-informed, factually-challenged, fundamentally-dishonest delusional dreck, that would be you, little fella.

Always a pleasure.

Dismissed.

No, that would be your ignorant, ill-informed/factually-challenged/fundamentally-dishonest ass, little fella.

Always a pleasure.

Dismissed.

Coopy,

Nice cut and paste but your answer is gibberish given the content of the post you were so lamely trying to slam.

I know it's difficult when you have a limited pre-approved playbook to follow but you really should try to do better.

Pretty soon people will start thinking you are a dope.

So there is a fund raiser for Republicans from around the state, how does that slow up the session?

Dork face Andy Maclean must be like a pig in slop today. Plenty of windfall coming his way.

Coopy,

"Nice cut and paste but your answer is gibberish given the content of the post you were so lamely trying to slam."

In other words, you're ignorant trash with bupkis.

Thanks for settin' the record straight, little factually-challenged fella.

As for play selection, until you coalition of the clueless cretins can cough up some evidence to substantiate your specious slop and prove ya can stop it, I'm gonna keep runnin' it.

Always a pleasure.

Dismissed.

Again, another mindless cut and paste from the playbook. The evidence is your posting itself. Anyone with a 3rd grade education would see it makes no sense.

And I thought you majored in the 5th Grade at the Jethro Bodine Academy of Higher Learning. You are making your alma mater look bad.

Ah, so your ignorant ass has some evidence to support of your specious slop, little factually-challenged fella?

Cough it up.

That's what I thought.

Always a pleasure, always a piece of cake.

Dismissed.

Apparently reading skills aren't required at the Academy either. Take a deep breath. Re-read the last 3 postings and think. Yes..it is very hard but I am sure you can do it.

Your first post was gibberish. Your last post confirms your substandard reading comprehension.

Some might begin to think you are a bit of a dope.

Yeah, but he sure can play that air guitar.

In other words, your ignorant anonymous ass still can't cough up any evidence to support your delusional dreck.

That's been considerably more than apparent for some time, little nameless-nitwit fella.

Always a pleasure, always a piece of cake.

Dismissed.
