State of the State: "What about the War" (updated at 2:15 p.m.)

Protestors hold up banners "What about the War" and "Miltiary out of Schools. Prvacy is a right." Statehouse security removes them while the speech is suspended.

Sad. Too bad these low-lifes can't get a productive life doing something other than "look at me, look at me!"

GET A JOB!

Of course the Governor wasn't going to mention the war. Everyone knows he only does that when a Vermont soldier dies.

But not a peep today.

"GET A JOB!" Mittwit, heal thyself.

Why aren't you in Iraq, bubbles?

Why are you still here, bubbles. Why aren't you in Iraq, little fella?

I think it's the turn of draft-dodger scum like you to serve, isn't it little fella?

If that's the case why hasn't the current administration been shipped en masse to Iraq*/

"I think it's the turn of draft-dodger scum like you to serve, isn't it little fella?"

Feel free to provide any and all evidence that I'm a draft-dodger and you and your anonymous little friend aren't, tiny bubbles.

That's what I thought.

Secondly, I don't support the War in Iraq, the illegitimate trash in the WH or the way he's screwed up Afghanistan and everything else he touches.

Pat Tillman made the mistake of trusting your boy.

How'd that work out for him?

You clowns, on the other hand, do.

Have fun.

Dismissed.

Bubba probably dodged with Cheney and Rummy.

Not quite sure what Rummy serving as a Marine fighter pilot has to do with "dodging". For that matter, Bush did fly F15 fighters with the National Guard. I realize that doesn't compare with those Rambos that spit on our G.I.s returning from Vietnam, or the twinkies that show up in Montpelier to interrupt our Gov, or interrupt graduation ceremonies at St. Johnsbury, but maybe Sgt. jw can explain.

Cheney dodged. Rumsfeld didn't.

Anonymous 2:56 makes assumptions and doesn't know the facts.

Anonymous 2:56 loses.

"Anonymous 2:56 loses."

Not to you he doesn't, little anonymous dude. Rummy did a hitch as an Aviator in the Navy in the 50s.

He stayed active in the Reserve until 1989. Like Bush, there was nothing preventing him from going to Vietnam if he was so Gung Ho for the War.

Like you and your boy bubbles, gops are gung ho all the way as long as somebody goes in their place and they don't have to actually fight or die or jeopardize their future plans.

You're a fraud, little anonymous whiner dude.

Still, ya might wanna call the rudy for prez campaign. They say the pay is great.

Dismissed.

Christ, you can't even get this straight, tiny bubbles. Rummy was a Naval Aviator in the 50s

For that matter, Bush did fly F15 fighters with the National Guard."

"He did, eh? Christ, ya cheneyed that one up, too.

Actually, he supposedly flew F-102s. Look it up, putz. Learn something.

If Shrub showed up, how come nobody can remember serving with the schmuck, tb?"

There's been a 10K award for anyone who can actually document serving with the schmuck for years. It's still unclaimed. Why?

Rummy remained in the Guard until '89. Again, just what prevented him on shrub from going to Vietnam if they were so gung ho for that War, little putz?

They're just like you and the little fella, all for the war as long as they don't actually have to fight and/or die in it and jeopardize their future plans.

"I realize that doesn't compare with those Rambos that spit on our G.I.s returning from Vietnam, or the twinkies that show up in Montpelier to interrupt our Gov, or interrupt graduation ceremonies at St. Johnsbury, but maybe Sgt. jw can explain."

I'd be happy to, tiny bubbles. Just as soon as you can produce a documented incident of somebody spitting on a returning GI from Vietnam.

Shoot, I won't even wait that long. They've got a First Amendment Right to do so. They were arrested and removed and they'll have their Day in Court just like Scooter. Hopefully, they'll have better luck than he did, little fella.

Always a pleasure.

"Rummy did a hitch as an Aviator in the Navy in the 50s.

He stayed active in the Reserve until 1989."

If you don't call flying planes ten years before the Vietnam war, serving in the military, then you're the fraud.

Damn the facts, eh?

I am sure those protesters took "personal time" from their job - right?

"I am sure those protesters took "personal time" from their job - right?"

You'll have to ask them, laffy boy. I don't give a damn one way or the other.

How is it you and bubbles manage to find the time to always be here to dazzle us with your ignorance and stupidity as you shower us with gop-slop nonsense and 10th-rate second-grade wit?

Given the unemployment situation and the bush-league economy, there's bound to be a deep anti-gop bench and plenty of folks to go in there for 'em so you and tiny bubbles best get used to it.

Now, back to that why the hell are you and bubbles not in Iraq discussion we were havin' earlier, laffy boy. Just what prevented Rummy and Shrub from going to Vietnam if they were so patriotic and gung ho for the War?

That's what I thought.

Dismissed.

Which part of "Rummy did a hitch as an Aviator in the Navy in the 50s." is givin' you trouble, laffy boy?

How does that preclude him and shrub from serving in a war they were all gung ho over as long as somebody went in their place and they didn't have to actually fight or die or jeopardize their other priorities in it any more than it keeps you and bubbles outta Iraq?

That's what I thought.

"Damn the facts, eh?"

Nah, I'll leave that to you and bubbles, sport.

Given the fact that they appear to have a liberal bias and they sure as hell ain't doin' you, bubbles, bush, cheney, rummy or any other gop slithering across the face of the earth or hidin' under a rock hopin' to weather the coming gop-slop armageddon any favors, now why the hell would I wanna do that, laffy boy?

Time and the facts are on my side.

On the other hand, like Bush, Rummy and Cheney, you and bubbles are basically folked.

Bummer.

Always a pleasure.

You retard. Rumsfled was born in 1932. He flew planes in the Navy in the 50s, when he was in his twenties. By the time of the Vietnam war, he was in his mid thirties and had done his time in the service.

No one likes Rumsfeld. There's plenty of valid reasons to criticize him. But calling him a draft dodger is ridiculous and pure partisan hackery.

jw, you were born in 1953. You would have been in your late teens/early twenties at the hight of the Vietnam War.

Did you serve?

Thought so.

Tough talk calling people who DID SERVE draft dodgers.

Again, just which part of "Rummy did a hitch as an Aviator in the Navy in the 50s." is giving you trouble, little spineless, nameless, witless anonymous fella?

Are you tellin' me that nobody born in the 1930s was flyin' missions in Vietnam between 1965-1973? Good luck provin' that mess.

They had guys who flew in WWII and Korea flying missions in Vietnam, schmuck. Anyone who flew in WWII was born in the 1920s. The early 1920s if not before, so what's your folkin' point, putz?

Are ya gonna tell me that everyone killed or maimed in Vietnam was there by choice, schmuck?!!

Ya gonna tell me that Bush didn't jump over a hundred guys or two to land his assignment in the champagne squadron, nitwit?!!

Ya gonna tell me that they all supported the War in Vietnam and they all made it back in one piece?!!

That's what I thought.

That gop chicken hawk Saxby Chambliss slimed and swiftboated his opponent Max Cleland who left three limbs there after he threw himself on a grenade and saved a couple of other guys in the process.

Clueless Ann Coulter took over sliming him when Chambliss came up for air, so spare me your "pure partisan hackery"

Like Bush, Cheney, Scooter, Rove, Chambliss and chicken hawks everywhere, there was nothing preventing him from going to Vietnam if he was so Gung Ho for the War.

There was nothing preventing any of them from going there but their own cowardice and sense of entitlement.

"No one likes Rumsfeld."

No kiddin'.

Well, actually, Cheney, Bush and all those chicken hawk loons still like him. Cheney called him the greatest Sec Def in US History when they threw him his "hit the road and don't darken our door again, don" shindig at the Pentagon a week or so after Bush gave him his walkin' papers.

Truth be told, if the gops had managed to hang on to just one House of Congress, he'd still be there lyin' his ass off and gettin' people killed for nothin' and you nitwits would still be singin' his praises, so spare me your "pure partisan hackery" gop- slop.

Bush and his supporters and apologists continually prove that there's no one less patriotic, less courageous and less American than the coalition of the clueless likes of you swine.

Once again, ya got bupkis, laffy boy.

Dismissed.

"jw, you were born in 1953. You would have been in your late teens/early twenties at the hight of the Vietnam War."

Yeah, laffy boy, I was born in 1953. Actually, it was Sunday 5/10/53 to be exact. Mother's Day.

You can look it up.

They had a draft lottery back then. They drew pieces of paper with your birthday on it out of a drum. My number was 100.

Evidently, that was high enough so they never even called me in for a physical, little fella.

You can look that up, too.

I didn't get my Congressman Daddy to pull some strings so I could sleaze out of a War I was all for as long as I didn't actually have to fight in it.

Nobody had to go in my place. Nobody had to die or come home in pieces in my place because I was too much of a chicken hawk to risk my future plans.

Better men and women than them had their future plans disrupted if not destroyed.

Ya can look that up, too.

"Did you serve?"

Like all intelligent American People, I was against the War in Vietnam, little fella. I didn't get drafted and I didn't feel the need to enlist.

Again, little fella, I was against the War in Vietnam. I got lucky enough to be born on the right day in the right year not to be drafted. No strings were pulled so somebody had to go in my place.

"Thought so."

Clearly, given your inability to grasp the fact that I wasn't drafted to serve in a War I didn't support and they didn't serve in a war they did support as long as they didn't have to actually fight in it, you don't think at all.

"Tough talk calling people who DID SERVE draft dodgers."

When did Cheney serve, little fella? Rove? Chambliss? Newt?

That's what I thought.

If they were for the War in Vietnam, little fella, what was preventing them from serving in it, Cheerleader Practice?

Dismissed.

"I didn't suport a war I didn't enlist in after I didn't support it after I was old enough to be in it that I missed the draft for unlike other people who . . ."

Blah, blah, blah.

Dismissed.

So now you're reduced to fabricatin' quotes my little coalition of the clueless cretin.

Just when I think you've hit bottom you manage to drain just a wee bit more from the bottom of the shallow gene pool that spawned your sorry ignorant, ill-informed, spineless butt.

Ya got bupkis.

Always a pleasure.

Right. If ya can't win, hurl an insult. That's Republicanism for ya.

It is with these clowns.

I was talking about you, nitwit.

"Right. If ya can't win, hurl an insult. That's Republicanism for ya."

Leaving aside the absurd premise that I'm ever bested by the likes of you loons, just when did I was a gop?

Take your time. You ain't goin' nowhere. Feel free to cough up any and all examples, little fella.

It is with these clowns.

Ah, so your absence of evidence is my proof of guilt, eh, little anonymous fella?

Nice try.

Nah, there's overwhelming evidence that you're an antisocial jerk. It's in every one of the hundreds of turds you've dropped on this site since you got here.

Always with the sweet talk.

And I've got you, babe.

You're gonna have to do better than fabricating quotes and stealin' my lines, little fella.

You're a dinosaur, schmuck. Go find yourself a target an fall in it.
