Burlington vs. ROV

That's "rest of Vermont."

Zuckerman: It's not in Burlington vs. out. It's old vs. new. Those who resent Bernie Sanders' election in 1981 will always hate Progs.

Most times parties find way to work together, but Zuckerman said, Dems shouldn't challenge incumbent Progs. That, of course, was a very, very, very thorny issue in his district this election, when fellow Prog Chris Pearson lost to Dem newcomer Kesha Ram.

Comments:
Progs get to run against Dems, but Dems should not run against Progs.

This is the type of logic that will continue to doom the Progs.

Actually when one looks at the facts we rarely run against incumbent Democrats at all (particularly in the last 4-8 years) and when they are progressive Democrats we really work to minimize the challengers. So for Anonymous...I would ask you to be less rhetorical and look at the facts. Since the D's keep saying we all agree that is why I bring up the question of running against incumbent Progs that the D's agree with. The D's can't have it both ways.

We work hard to reduce the three way races and to reduce the challenges to "good" D's. Just ask Speaker Symington...we actually worked quite well together overall when looking at the various house races across the state during her tenure.

And as I have started to mention whenever I post to blogs...what are you afraid of in terms of identifying yourself? DZ

"Actually when one looks at the facts we rarely run against incumbent Democrats at all (particularly in the last 4-8 years) and when they are progressive Democrats we really work to minimize the challengers"

This is calculated double-speak.

What does "rarely" mean?

It means, we will run a candidate against a Dem when whenver we feel like it.

And incumbent politicians who choose to be public people and on the public payroll should stop whining about people who choose to post anonymously. Enough already.
