No surprise in Bernie's case, since polls have given him a double-digit lead for months. But the early call in the Welch race must mean the exit polls show a lopsided vote in his favor. So the question becomes: Is there a Democratic tide that could mean trouble for Republican Gov. Jim Douglas and Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie?
